Pigeon Bands

My Pigeon Bands arrived today. I want to mark the breading pairs and then start harvesting the rest. I want to keep the number down low3-4 breading pairs max. This will aid in identifying them. The pigeon coop is not far from being completed and then the pigeons will move into that and Zoie can start free lofting. The plan for this weekend is to get it all complete, that's the plan....

Zoie is recovering slowly, she is nice and fat at the moment and on a diet of mice, rats and pigeon. The injury to her wing is taking for ever to close up so I'm researching the use of New Skin on Avery birds, who has used it and what success they have had. If we we can close it up I'm pretty sure it will heal more quickly.
