Vacation

Been visiting my home town of Manchester England for the lat couple of weeks, visiting family and friends but most importantly my two sons.

I got the opportunity to introduce my sons to birds of prey a the Wild Wings Birds of Prey Center near Warrington.

Obviously we couldn't go hunting but the smile said it all for me. Thanks to Ian Middleton and Mark for making our day. The center is entirely stocked with Birds that have been rescued. I was saddened to hear how people can come to have BOP's in the UK. Harris Hawks selling for $150 or a swapping for a set of golf clubs. No formal training and no permits are required. I'm so glad we don't have that in the USA.

I'm off back to New Orleans in 10 days to pick up my Coulson Harris with Steve Armstrong and visiting a few Falconers along the way. For the moment i'm getting all my gear together.

Still working with Remington on Woah and we seemed to have turned a corner with it last night. I'm thinking about joining the Tulsa Bird Dog Association. The have a mini expo this coming weekend that looks like it will be fun to go to.
