Ice Cream and Bee's

I saw this on TV the other night and then someone pointed it out on Beemaster.com But Haagen-Dazs have really got behind the honey bee recently.

My Bees....

Well my bees are moving along at great guns. I checked them out on wendesday before the storms. the Package hives had drawn out alot of comb and you can see lots of wax flakes under the screen bottom board. The NUC didnt seem to be doing so well. I noticed that the bees had not been moving off the installed frames so under the advice of a friend i moved one frame outwards and inserted a new frame with new foundation on it in order to try and get the bees to move onto it and to start drawing it out.

apart from that the bees seem to have really settled down and constantly entering the hive with pollen and sometimes nectar stores.
